French Riviera

It was truly stunning. Sara told us to have lots of long lazy lunches in the south of France in the many little shuttered villages. So we had our hearts set (Anna's) on finding a restaurant with a beautiful view to sit and enjoy. However, winter (if you can call this great weather we've been having winter!) in the south of France means that all the restaurants are closed! We drove passed many hopeful places but didn't find one. Finally when we did find a lovely dessert cafe we ended up ordering a jug of hot milk - instead of coffee with milk. You may get the impression that we didn't have a good day but despite the cullinary disasters we had a stunning drive and lots of strolls along the water front.
